I'm writing this post to explain what this blog is about.
To start by introducing myself, I'm a young person who likes to know the truth about things, which is why i named my blog "Veritatem" - meaning "Truth".
I'm quite interested especially in Creatures, Myths and Legends. While watching anime, playing games or reading books/articles, I've started to notice many recurring names. From it, derived the feeling to know what these meant - to find the history behind the names, legends, stories, and so on..
Researching these stuff, I've started noticing how people use the names, changing the legend behind it to there needs but almost always keeping a certain touch with it's origin. When finding these things, I felt quite fulfilled and wanted to share these 'truths' with others.
This blog will be about this. I will write the origin behind the names and list various examples of how it was merged with different ideas or how it was morphed into something new.
